Back in the late 1980’s, the founders of Rover Data Systems looked around the landscape of the ERP software market and knew there was a better way to deliver, install and maintain ERP systems for small-to-medium sized businesses. The days of the “mini” computer were going away and the power of the PC was growing exponentially. The old style of very expensive hardware and software was going away. We designed a full-featured ERP system that would run efficiently on smaller PC-based servers at a price point that would allow all companies to get the competitive benefits of an ERP system.
Along with the lower price points for hardware and software, we felt the cost of services and annual maintenance contracts was also exorbitant. Maintaining a low hourly rate, not overcharging for services and training and keeping annual support fees low meant customer were more satisfied and could afford all of the benefits that used to only be available to large corporations.
Through the years, we have maintained those low price points and continue to provide our customers with the highest level of customer service in the industry. At Rover Data Systems, we don’t believe that just being “competitive” is enough. We strive every day, on every call, to support our customers in a way that allows them to get the most out of their investment and their partnership with us.
